Why in the world did they bail out an ungrateful Auto Industry that cut jobs increased prices of Vehicles. I for one will not buy a new car the reason is i can’t make myself pay such and enormous price for a good vehicle. To the Major Car companies get readily to kiss the country good bye.

On Happening Now on FOX, Virg Bernero, the Mayor of Lansing, Mich., goes off on Wall Street and that the Union members at the auto industry have already given up enough. He went on to say that the auto companies should be giving their workers health care, including health care for life. He said that the auto companies helped create the middle class by giving its workers such great benefits. Bernero said that our auto companies are on an unfair playing field with foreign auto companies.

These two companies and nissan included had the foresight to see that people were going to want eco-friendly cars and now the U.S auto industry wants me to bail them out for continually making trucks and not having the foresight to build High MPG automobiles?

Economically speaking when did market failure occur in the North American auto industry for GM, Chrysler, and Ford?
My guess is the market failed due to government intervention and people had to pay taxes for the bailout? But I don’t know how and if this is even right.
