Computer and Auto industry experience - how to combine them into a job?

geblah187 asked:

I’ve worked for years as both a mechanic and in the auto parts industry. I also hold a degree in computer programming and my CompTIA A+ certification. I’m interested more in an IT career - but if I can leverage my auto experience somehow, i’m sure it would help.

Any insight on how to combine the two? I got laid off in December, and I really need a job. I live just northeast of Atlanta in Lawrenceville, GA.

If you own a degree - or any extra qualification - then you’ll already be ahead of the bunch when it comes to searching for vocations. My pal has a degree and he wasn’t certain what direction to go with it, eventually he went in a completely different direction, he earns his keep from Google alone. Have a look at the site below.
