When completed, the Harlem Auto Mall will be the largest auto sales and service center in New York City, and the first located above 60th Street in more than 40 years. Located on the block bounded by East 127th and East 128th Streets and Second and Third Avenues, it will include a parking area of approximately 27,000 square feet and several “L” shaped buildings to be occupied by one of the six auto dealerships which the site is large enough to accommodate. To date, Chevrolet, Saturn, Cadillac and HUMMER have sight on to be part of the Auto Mall.

Instead of just relying on the dealership experience, which they have done for some time, Alexander Edwards says, “We’re going to come out with products that are going to blow everybody away.” Alexander Edwards is the president of Strategic Vision Inc. The firm tapped 27,000 United States car buyers to get their views on the particular car brands that they have bought or are looking to buy the next time they need a car.
