An electric bicycle is a bicycle that is powered by an electric motor. Electric bikes are also known as motorized bikes. These are fitted with a motor for pedaling, so that the rider doesn’t have to pedal. Electric bicycles generally contain a small electric motor or an internal combustion engine. However, internal combustion engines are being replaced by electric motors with the onset of lightweight, high-battery-storage motors. Electric bikes are very popular in some countries like China, where bicycles are still a chief mode of transportation.
The earliest motorbikes can be traced to the late 19th century. Motorcycles evolved from this development, which tried to power a regular bicycle with motor power. In fact, the moped is a direct descendent of the motor bicycle, and most mopeds still have pedals attached to them. Some mopeds also use pedals as a starting aid and for propulsion. The different kinds of electric bikes are: direct-drive, geared, chain drive, hub motors and friction drive. Another classification is the power-on-demand (motor is activated by a handle-bar mounted throttle) and the pedelec (motor is regulated by pedaling).
Will GM Be Going Chinese?
Single-phase motors are categorized by the method used to start the motor and the method used to establish the direction of rotation.
Single Value Capacitor Motors
Little did the President know — but the CFO would turn out to be a corporate I-D thief. And as the President was to discover, corporate I-D theft would threaten the company, its staff, its lenders and its very owner.
Split phase motors are categorized under single phase and are generally available from 1/25 to 1/2 HP. They have low starting torque (turning force) and high starting current but are less expensive. Split phase motors are generally restricted to applications where the load needs low starting torque and starts are infrequent.
The Shanghai plant of General Motors would be where these hybrid cars would be built. The whole deal would have to be a joint project of General Motors’ Shanghai plant as well as that of the Shanghai Automotive Industry Corp. Of course, it was yet to be announced if the company still plans on also creating their other products like GMC truck parts and the whole lot in the mentioned plant. The only sure product that they would be manufacturing here would be those hybrid cars and vehicles.

Single-phase motors are built differently from three phase motors that start and run in a direction based on the phase rotation of the incoming power. An auxiliary starting means is required to run single-phase motors, which, once started in a direction, will continue to run in that particular direction.

Blower Motors
Theft of a company’s identification can silently destroy a business. A fraud detection specialist explains what it is and how it works.
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) July 24, 2006 — For three years a fraud was perpetrated upon A2G Company Inc. of Los Angeles. The company's real name is being withheld because the fraud almost destroyed it. The crime was finally discovered when a tax department levied the corporate bank account for three years in back taxes.

It may actually be so. You see, just last 6th of November, General Motors has informed the public that they would be building their own range of hybrid cars that are known to be friendly to be environment in the Asian country of China. This would be taking effect and would be starting operations come the year 2008.
On this, Martin Murray, the current head of the company’s Asia Pacific hybrid engineering team, did mention, “The GM Hybrid System is flexible and cost effective and is ideal for high volume global applications, which include its introduction in China in 2008.”
The goal of a corporate I-D thief is to defraud the company through various methods including embezzlement, diverting company revenue or masquerading as a signing officer to cause financial and legal damage.
