A friend has a 2004 used Pontiac Sunbird with 31,000 miles. It failed the emissions test because of a bad o2 sensor. Would the o2 sensor be covered under a federal emissions warranty for up to 7 yrs or 70,000 miles and be replaced for free by the dealer ? Thanks.

I am planning on buying a used 1999 Pontiac Firebird. The car rides good but the only thing that bothers me is that it already has 90,000 miles on it. On an average maintained firebird, is 90,000 mies close to the end of problem free running? Also 5000$ (inclding dealer fee, tax and everything else) a good price?

Does the 30th anniversary Pontiac Trans Am come equipped with an Ls1 engine? I know it has the Ws6 package, but I haven’t been able to find out what type of engine it has other than the ordinary Pontiac 5.7 liter 350ci V8.

I have a 2005 Pontiac Sunfire and the fuel gauge is all out of whack. The gauge need is pass the full mark and bend back to the speedometer numbers (the fuel gauge is on the right of the speedometer). I really want this fixed. This is the only thing wrong. What could be the problem and how much could it cost?

I would just like to know how to relieve fuel pressure on my 1990 Pontiac Bonneville so that I can change a fuel filter and possibly some fuel injectors.
Please try and be as specific as possible, as I am not that technical. I wouldn’t say I know “just enough to be dangerous.” I would say I know just a little more than that.
