Amtech Lighting Services, a wholly-owned subsidiary of ABM Industries Incorporated (NYSE:ABM), has been awarded a multi-year, multi-million dollar contract with General Motors Dealership Identification Leasing Corporation (GM-DI), a wholly-owned subsidiary of General Motors Corporation (NYSE:GM). The full-service contract covers scheduled cleaning, painting and on-call repair service for more than 4,000 signs at over 1,000 GM dealership facilities located throughout the southwest United States.
As the center of expertise for exterior retail identification within the General Motors family, GM-DI administers the General Motors Dealership Identification Program, which provides GM dealers with a competitive advantage in the retail automotive market. GM-DI surveys dealerships nationwide, and will additionally install, modify, replace, relocate and remove dealership signs.
