How do you clean and remove dust from chrome alloy rims on a pontiac Grand Am?

I own a 03′ Pontiac Grand Am and my rims have dust on them and when I wash my car they don’t shine like they used to. What products an I use to clean them and get them to shine?

    My husband has harley with lot of chrome wheels on my husband has harley with lot of chrome wheels on my car.

    wash them and dry them good and then use 0000 steel wool on them, they will shine like new.
