Who thinks Pontiac should redesign the GTO to look more like the original?
February 9th, 2012 | by Administrator |qbytrack05 asked:
Like Ford did with the Mustang, Dodge with the Challenger, and Chevy with the Camaro. Shouldn’t Pontiac look at a more iconic body style for the GTO
I like the ‘69 GTO myself. But feel free to put down whichever you like.

I do. When I saw the new GTO’s, I laughed. I don’t get where they get off calling that a GTO.
I see that it’s also very hard to get the Challenger, Charger, and GTO’s with a manual transmission. Are they begging us not to buy them?

For what they would make an exact reprocuction of 69 camaro and more otherwise they didnt handle well got horrible gas mileage that could run real fast but they would sell lot more people anymore mistake what they are dead they will never revive them they can do.

Actually, they did “design it after the original GTO”, because the original GTO was not visually much different from every other car on the road, it just had tons of power. The fact that the 04-06 GTO looks very “average” pays homage to the past car by following the same formula.
